Why we stagger the logos
In a straight grid the gaps line up, and a head can land between two columns. Offsetting every other row means a logo sits behind almost every face.

We think about the photographers
Cameras sit around chest height, a couple of metres back. We concentrate logos in the band people actually fill, roughly 0.8 to 2 m from the floor.
